Cork – The Kinsale & District Lions Club, ini proud partnership with the Chartered Accountants Ireland Cork Society, is delighted to announce that its flagship Budget Breakfast Briefing 2026 has officially sold out. Taking place on Thursday, 9th October 2025 at the Kinsale Hotel & Spa, just 48 hours after Budget 2026 is delivered in the Dáil, this year’s event will welcome over 300 delegates from all sectors of business, community, leadership and public life. It will include an analysis of budget 2026 and economic outlook for 2026 with leading economist Jim Power. It is being supported by all major employer companies in the region such as Carbery Group, Eli Lilly, MMD Construction as well as local SMEs and professional service firms in the town . All local community groups and organisations are attending this major event in the Kinsale calendar.
This year’s theme, Trusted Business Leadership, captures the spirit of the event: a collaboration that brings together professional expertise, business insight, and community service, all in aid of vital charitable causes. The partnership with the Chartered Accountants Ireland Cork Society has been central to this success, showcasing the profession’s commitment to integrity, leadership, and giving back. The event will be chaired by Gerry O Dwyer of Kinsale Lions Club.
