Our history :
As Ireland continues to evolve, it is fitting that Fitzgerald & Partners should reflect on its own journey. Founded 26 years ago by Cormac Fitzgerald FCPA, FCA, the firm has grown from its base in Kinsale to serve a wide range of clients across the region and beyond. Over that time, we have been privileged to work with dynamic businesses, communities, and individuals, supporting them through both opportunities and challenges. We act for leading SMES helping them in their journey. We have helped our clients navigate the economic cycles of business.
Our founder, Cormac Fitzgerald FCPA FCA , has played a leading role in the accountancy profession both at home and abroad. He served as President of CPA Ireland in 2014, sat on the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies – Ireland (CCAB–I) that same year, represented the profession on the international stage. In 2015, he addressed over 2,500 accountants at the ICAI International Conference in India, and he has also attended the World Congress of Accountants in Rome.
Alongside his professional commitments, he continues to contribute to local community life as the current President of Kinsale & District Lions Club. His dedication to professional excellence, international engagement, and community service continues to inspire the ethos of the firm. He also serves on the national council and board of ISME which represents over 10,500 businesses in Ireland.
From our early beginnings in Kinsale to our expansion and development, Fitzgerald & Partners has always adapted to meet the changing needs of clients.
